Our clothes are regularly coming out of the washer with grease-looking stains/splotches. We have a top loading washer, the hose was recently replaced because it was rusty, and usse tide pods and nothing else. We add the tide pods, let the washer run for 5 mins or so until the pod dissolves, then throw the clothes in. Any ideas?

Any ideas? hmm there could be something in your washer that it doesnt wash thoroughly.. sometimes it can happen. like if u wash ur clothes and the tub may have some previous stains.. just if it continues maybe u should separate your colored shirts with white shirts

If you're not confident to do urself can hire other people to service it. I think nowadays got washer that can auto wash drum but not sure which brand

I think nowadays got washer that can auto wash drum but not sure which brand i'm currently using samsung washer but dont have any problem with stain. My mom said having a plastic drum is more easier to clean and does not get corroded by harsh hard water. Some front load washing machines and top load also got steel drums which more premium feature.

You can rub the spots with a wet bar of soap or a bit of liquid dishwashing soap and then rewash. But, that would be very tiring to do everyday

You can go for LG washers if prefer energy saving and they are positively reviewed for their quietness compared to other brands.

I will go for front load washer as can be stacked on top of dryers & saving space in my laundry room. kind of easier to load and unload the laundry. Better choose energy saving washer so that can reduce the amount of water and energy needed to do a load of laundry.

I like to survey at the store because can see the washer by ourself and the people there will explain directly to us

Normally, front load washing machine got enery saving compared to top load bcoz got latest technology and others benefits, including energy efficiency, larger capacity, ease of use, and more.

I do some survey and got to know that front loaders generally offer more temperature options than top loaders because they use an internal heater rather than hot water from the tap. so can adjust the temperature to wash sebum and oily stains

I think toshiba also got hot wash setting that can also use to wash tub to remove the dirt and there are times when you need warm water to remove tough stains from your clothes.
